About Camtel Enterprises

Camtel Enterprises started in 2011 as a one-person consultancy doing contract web development for local businesses. The work was unglamorous but genuinely useful — building online ordering systems for restaurants, setting up e-commerce stores for retailers who were still taking phone orders, and creating internal tools for companies that had outgrown their spreadsheets.

Over the years the team grew, but the approach stayed the same: understand what the business actually needs, build it properly, and stick around to maintain it. We never chased the latest JavaScript framework for its own sake or pushed clients toward platforms they did not need. The goal was always to build something that works and keeps working.

By 2015 we had shifted toward more complex projects — inventory management systems, patient scheduling portals, multi-vendor marketplaces, and API integrations for companies juggling several different software platforms. The common thread was always the same: a business had a specific operational problem, and off-the-shelf software was not quite solving it.

Today we are a small team of senior developers and one project manager. We deliberately stay small because it lets us maintain quality and keep our communication overhead low. Every project gets direct attention from the people who are actually writing the code.
